Is British Council stopping IELTS in India?

What happened to British Council IELTS?
IDP entered an agreement to acquire all the British Council-managed IELTS centres in India. This means that from 25 July 2021, all IELTS tests will be delivered by IDP and all TRFs will be issued by IDP. There is no change to the test content, structure, marking or security.
