What does it mean when my Pico dressing keeps beeping?
If there is a low suction in the dressing, a flashing orange light above the leak symbol will alert you. You may also hear the pump make a buzzing sound. This signals that the suction is low because of an air leak somewhere in the seal around the dressing.
Why does my wound vac keep beeping?
“Blockage/Canister Full” – If there is a blockage or kink in the tubing or the canister is full, the audible alarm will sound. The canister should be changed or the tubing blockage removed. “Leak or High Flow” – If there is a leak at the wound dressing site or between the wound and the device, the alarm will sound.

Cut foam dressing to the length necessary to cover the incision. CAUTION: Do not cut the foam over the wound, as fragments may fall into the wound. Rub foam edges away from the patient to remove any fragments or loose particles that may fall into or be left in the wound upon dressing removal.
